Georgian Masterpiece
This kitchen remodel, the brain child of architect/homeowner Richard Woodling of Greentouch Design, who dreamed of an traditional European style kitchen that was built around and on an geometric axis extending through the kitchen from the middle of the built-in refrigerator to the centerline of the window fenestration located in the eating nook at the other end of the space. Richard brought in Jennifer Marshal of Jennifer Marshal Design to contribute in the discovery and incorporation of the multiple harmonious materials, as well as lending a voice to the development of the layout and geometry of the cabinetry and finish carpentry. We collaboratively consulted with Richard, Jennifer and general contractor Jim Kitchin of Interworks, LLC to detail and provide working shop drawings to bring the perfect balance of axial geometry, proportion and artistic ambiance to this SW Portland kitchen space.
